How do you fit 2 ECVs in a room at Pop?

My ILs are joining us for a Grand Gathering for our Halloween trip. My MIL always rents an ECV from Walker but for this trip my FIL will also need to rent an ECV. They have a room at Pop (their preferred resort) but are unsure how to fit the ECVs in the room at night to charge them.

Last year they stayed in a Studio at SSR and their room was at the end of a hallway. They were able to plug in the ECV into an outlet in the hallway and never had to put the ECV in the actual room. Is that possible at Pop - to charge it outside?

Thanks for any advice or input!

The rooms at POP exit to the outdoors...There is no indoor shelter in the "hall". You'd probably have to leave them in the luggage room in the main building at night to charge if you can.

It will be difficult in a Value Resort. At the very least they will need to bring a heavy duty (15 amp or more) extension cord at least eight feet long with multiple outlets on it as they will probably nt be able to get both chargers close to an outlet.

And they cannot park them outside as all corridors are outside and also the way they are set up is they go completely around the outside of the buildings so there is no blind end.

First, I would ask for a king size bedroom; don't get two double beds. Also, I think you may need to move furniture. Infact, I would put the bed up against the wall towards the bathroom area. The table and chairs will need to be placed somewheres else. There should be an outlet by the table and chairs for one scooter. I think I remember an outlet by the door near the bed and that's where the other scooter should go. Don't make it harder trying to get passed the bed, etc with a scooter.

I think the luggage area idea is a good one to charge up. I didn't know they would do it for you there. The one drawback is you need to walk back to your room every night. For reservations if you want to do it this way, I'd make sure you ask for the 50s building; it's closet to the luggage area.

Now, some scooters allow for the battery pack to be removed and charged. Then you don't have to bring the whole scooter in the room. The drawback is the battery pack can weigh over 30 pounds. You would then hold the scooters at the luggage area, but now you would have to carry the battery packs back to your room. Again, you need to walk back to your rooms this way.

We had my mother in an ECV last year while staying at All Star Movies. It was a nightmare with ONE. It took up SO much room. I can't imagine having to deal with two. Not sure how you are going to do this without blocking the exit (which would not be safe.)

Your ILs definitely need a king size room at POP in order to fit the ECVs. It will be a tight fit without a lot of extra room, but I think you can fit two EVCs in a room with a king size bed.

I stayed at POP twice recently, and I use an ECV (rented from Walker :) ). Our friends had a room with two double beds, and I would have never been able to get the ECV into their room.

Thanks everyone for the input - lots of great info and food for thought.

Luckily since we are a Grand Gathering, we have 3 rooms at Pop that should be located pretty close together and think it would be the easiest option to request that 2 of those rooms be King rooms and store one ECV in each room.

I am also going to ask if the table & chairs can be removed from those 2 rooms so there is more moving around room with the ECVs inside.
