Seriously. (Well, not really.) ;)

I go into stores and smell wonderful scents coming out of bowls of potpourri. But, I always wonder how do you leave a bowl out for days and then dust one of them?

That makes sense. :thumbsup2 I don't have a vacuum with a nozzle attachment. Only an upright vacuum. At least, now I know when I get a new vacuum, I can also get potpourri. :goodvibes

We have an upright vacuum too but it has a nozzle attachment on the back.

But we stopped getting potpourri in the house years ago - the cats kept stealing bits out of it to play with. Crushed dried flowers in the carpet requires even more vacuuming :rolleyes1

Ack! I hadn't thought of the cat factor. I guess no potpourri after all.

duct tape it down and use a lawn blower.

or a can of air

Best answer of all. More rum for you! :drinking1

I buy a big bag of it and I just toss it when it gets dusty and then replace!

If you HAVE to dust a bowl of potpourri after a few days, you have bigger problems than needing a fresh floral scent in your house. :rotfl:

I live in a sooty city. My apartment is right over a bus route, and I have a cat who scatters kitty litter dust everywhere. :( By the time I get around to dusting this place, I can draw hieroglyphics in the shelves. :teeth:

I had heard once to dust fake flowers, you should put them in a paper bag with a bunch of table salt and then shake it up. I wonder if the would work with potpurri?

:lmao:

I was whining to DH the other day that our house shouldn't be as dusty as it is. Our old house, yes. It was built in 1920 and on a high traffic and busy road. But this house? It was finished in 1996 so while not brand new, better windows, more efficient furnace, very low traffic street ... :confused3

I think we might have a dust fairy that comes around at night.

Now that you mention it, :scratchin sometimes the dust in here IS that size. :duck: :scared1:
