How do you display your lanyards at home?

On our last trip we began pin trading. We ended up with 2 full lanyards plus another half full for each of our 3 girls. We put them away but, have recently been redoing the girls rooms and I would like to display them. We have another trip planned for October so we will be adding more to our collection. Anyone have any ideas???

One idea I have is to get some wooden letters at Michael's crafts and use them to spell out the girls names for their room. Attach a small hook at the bottom to each letter that they can hang their small items on including these lanyards. They can help paint the letters in their favorite colors or designs. Could be a fun project.

Come to think of it..now I want to do something for ours LOL.

You can use a cork board to put the pins on if you dont care about keeping them on the lanyard & that frees the lanyard up for more trading.
;)

I do not keep mine on lanyards unless we're at the parks and pin trading. I've got mine in Shadow Box Frames displayed on various walls and cabinets.

I wish I could remember who it was but someone has the most stunning display of silhouettes of her two children surrounded by Disney character silhouette pins. You might be able to do something similar with pins you want to keep, a photo mat and a picture to go in the middle of a special time at DLR.

On my neck...at school... with my whistle and classroom keys attached. :goodvibes

I change the pins on it every week to match what we are learning. The rest are on black cross stitch material streched across an embroidery hoop and hung on the wall. Actually, I've now out grown the hoop and I need something else now. Still thinking about what to use.

Awww thanks! :) That was me :)

OP we have tons of pins displayed at home, when I get home from work I'll see if I can post them here for you. We use corkboards mostly, they work the best. My favorite is the framed silhouette that Pesky mentioned, it really is neat. :)

Please do. I am loving the idea of pictures with pins around them and the corkboards. You don't have any probs with them staying on?

I bought each of my kids blank stretched canavases at a craft store and let them put the pins on them in whatever order they wanted. We wrote each child's name on their canvas and they also decorated with the Sharpies around special pins (like circling their first traded for pin and writing a note about that being their first pin.) We hung the canvases and they just string the empty lanyards around the top corner of the canvas, ready to go for their next trip.

i guess im the least creative of you bunch...I have mine hanging on the wall in my bedroom:lmao:
