How do you display your holiday cards?

I'm trying to come up with cheap or frugal ideas for displaying our Christmas cards.

For many years we were using a large lead crystal bowl we received for a wedding present. Unfortunately that broke! In our old house I was securing them onto a molding with a ribbon, but my new house doesn't have that kind of molding.

Right now they have been sitting on top of the TV, but trying to think of a better alternative. I think I have some free baskets in the house, but looking for another option.

I like the wire card holders which have a christmas item with a semi flexible wire in it (similiar to business card holders). Is there anyway I can Make that? I am also thinking that I can buy one after Christmas as well...

At work we have one of those round wire things to display the cards that have been sent to our company, ones that have been given to me personally I have sitting on top of my desk.

At home we hang them around one of the doorways with that sticky stuff that comes off really easily when you need to remove it but sticks good until then. :)

This year they are in a card holder (big wooden reindeer). That is my lazy way.

Usually I love to put up a HUGE piece of wrapping paper up on the wall. (You can get those 3m sticky things & put alot because it gets heavy)
I do it kinda like a teachers bulletin board. Very cute.

At home, I tape them on the back of my front door. I used to have a card wreath, but it broke. I haven't been able to find another one that I like. My kids love hanging them on the front door though.:)

I tape them around my entertainment center. Tall enough so DD can't reach them, yet we are still able to see them. :)

taping them to the back of the door is a good idea. :)

last year we used a ribbon tied to nails. i haven't gotten around to putting ours up this year.

In our house, as you leave the LR to enter the kitchen I have a pantry door to the right.

I tape our cards to that door, as I get more I tape them to others that are there. I've never had a problem with the tape taking the paint off.

We string a ribbon across the living room wall, about 8" from the ceiling and hang the cards over it. We use paper clips to hold the postcard type, like hanging wash on the line. it looks very festive!

We tape them to the tops of our entryway into our family room and dining room. All picture cards, we tape to the fridge:D

This year I have put my tree in a corner with a window on each side of the tree. In my windows I have the wooden blinds. This year I am hanging the cards on the slats of the blinds. The kids have found this to be quite a neat idea and several guests have commented "Why didn't I think of that?" Just a suggestion!

I also tape mine to the wall near the doorway to the kitchen from the Living room. I must confess, I always save them til the next year to reread before I throw them out (sometimes I have a few years worth!).
I also keep every other card I receive. I am a sentimental gal.

I tape up Christmas wrapping paper on the door of the coat closet near the livingroom. Then I tape the cards on it in a tree pattern. In my old house I put the paper on the wall so I could make a big tree. This year I may have to settle for 2 smaller trees on the door.

We slip them into the blinds. I have no idea how that started but it's a cute decorations since we don't have curtains on those particular windows.

I have a new tin sleigh that I put mine in, it sits on top of my new little table i love it.

Right now, they're sitting on the counter in our kitchen, but then again, nobody's been over to display them to anyways.
