How do you clean your

front loading washer? Not sure if I should run a cycle of clorox or should I use vinegar?

We just got a set last month and I am in ! The directions on mine say to run the "tub clean" cycle once a month with bleach only. I also leave the door open when not in use to keep it dry.

Manufacturer's instructions for mine say run a cycle w/ bleach. I do that, but not very often.

I do frequently use white vinegar instead of fabric softener & I think that helps, too.

If you have a septic system, limit your use of bleach. It kills the bacteria in the septic system from what we were told.

I would use vinegar, I've found it cleans better than most cleaners out there. Plus it's pretty environmentally friendly, people friendly and cheap.

I've had mine for a few months now and haven't felt the need to clean it. Am I supposed to?

I just keep the door open and the rubber gasket dry and all seems well.

Leave door ajar, use this about every 3 months and run the Clean Washer Cycle monthly....

I leave the door and the soap drawer open. Every couple of months I wipe down the inside of the door and the gaskets with disinfectant wipes and I pull out the soap drawer and wash it.

just bought ours last week paid a pretty penny, and call me very unimpressed. It takes 45 minutes to do a load of wash, quick, wash was only 25 but didnt come out clean at all. we were told use the clean washer cycle, as well as run with a little bleach once a month. also echo the keep washer door open.

Septic system here so I use white vinegar. Also, leave the door open when not in use and check and wipe out the gasket frequently especially if you notice a musty smell. I love my frontloader but that gasket does trap moisture.
