How do you book a AAA discount?

Can you get a AA discount by calling CRO or are they only available if you go through AAA?

I was wondering because I was thinking about booking a room with this discount for August and then switching over to the AP rate when it comes out. I wasn't sure if I booked through AAA if the reservation would be in CRO's computers when I wanted to switch discounts.

You can book with CRO and use a AAA discount. They will tell you if the discount is available for your resort and dates. The discount varies, 10-20% depending on the season. I think booking with CRO is your safest bet if you plan on switching to another discount later.

I agree with the above poster. Just book with CRO and ask them to apply your AAA discount. I did that a couple of months ago, and then when the two discount codes came out recently (first AXA and then CZF), I was able to call CRO and have them applied with no problem.

Thanks for the information guys. I called CRO and booked my room.

I reserved a room at POR for 11 nights at the end of July. I used the AAA discount which I hope to improve on later with normal or AP codes. The rate was about 122 a night before taxes and 136.45 after taxes. The AAA discount saved me $265 over the standard rack rate.

I can't wait till I'm back in WDW!!!!
