How do you become a Disign"er" ?

Hi Y'all,

Can any one please tell me how I can become a disign"er"? Is it a program you use for cool fonts and images? I am a little lost but I have a few projects for my daughters third birthday that I would love to do but as its a lot of kids attending I don't want to ask someone to do it

Any tips would be awesome!

Anyone can DISign! Just pull some images and fonts together that you like!
If you'd like help, people on here can offer assistance with specific things you're searching for, or you can read the Tips, FAQs, Guidelines thread (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2430262) if you're more a "do it yourself" type.

Oh, and all I use is MSWord and Paint. It's more about what you do than using a special program.

Google Waltograph and Started by a Mouse, save them on your computers as a font.

good font sites listed on the How To sticky.....I would start with dafont.com

any font you install will be in Windows so will be available to the programs on your PC. You don't have to save specifically for Paint and MS Word.
