how do you advertise a stockpile sale?

I have seen a couple posts about stockpile sales, and think it is a great idea. I think I'm going to start working towards that.

I am at a loss as to how to advertise it. What do you say? How do you word your newspaper listing?

razors, shampoo, basically all health and beauty were big sellers. I had a huge bin of Soy Joy bars that even the dogs wouldn't eat. Gone in two secs at the sale. I advertise for free on craigslist and the online section of our daily paper. Made a few signs but I asked people where they had heard about the sale and most said online
