How do you add an avatar?

How do you add an avatar? I searched and it says click on "user cp" but there is no usper cp there?

You need to have 10 posts first, and then a lag of about 30 minutes or so. Then it should be available when you hover over (or click on) your username in the top right corner, select Avatar or Personal Details.

Are you talking about the little avatar that appears next to a thread title on a main page? That just indicates that you've posted on that thread.

Does DisBoards delete all of your old posts after a particular date? Because I had a ton of replies and a trip report on here a couple of years ago, and they all seem to have vanished, as has my avatar & signature. It's weird.

How old are the posts in question? I see you joined in 2012, and we definitely have threads and posts going back long before that; I don't believe anything is deleted just due to age of the posts. Is it possible you had a different user name at one time, and the posts were made under that user name? This user name only shows 7 posts -- 1 in 2012, 3 in 2013, and 3 recent. Try using the search feature and see if you can find one of your "missing" posts.

You don't have an avatar or signature because your current account appears to only have 7 posts and you need 10 for those items.

I just did a Google search for my trip report in the Disboards, and I realized I had a different username. Ooops.. Well, that explains a lot. I probably made a separate account because I use the username "MoonBunny" across the Internet and I wanted an extra layer of privacy just in case...
