How do you actually use/view your planned itineraries in the parks?

Total Type A personality here. Yes....one of those people with a Disney spreadsheet. I know, I know.

So, I've got this spreadsheet that I've put countless hours of effort into with our "ideal in a perfect world" itineraries and all the important info and whatnot. But now I'm stumped as to how to actually access that info in the parks. I thought about just printing out the spreadsheet/s and carrying them in our backpack or stroller, but has anyone else tried anything different? We're iPhone people - but I don't know if I can get an excel spreadsheet onto my iPhone?

I just print a credit card sized list for each day and keep in in my pocket. I also make a list for every day on my phone, but I prefer a hard copy so I don't have to get my phone out constantly.

Lists are so much easier to read than spread sheets.

You can upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox or whatever you use for file sharing/cloud access. Then use that app on your iPhone to access the file.

I find that I don't actually use the spread sheet once we're there ...
I plan and plan and plan, and run over scenario after scenario leading up to the trip. by the time I get there, i've got a great understanding of our plan A and our best options for plan B, C and D, you know?
It just helps me get super familiar with the optimal ride order, why i would want to do something early (or late) ... but I don't actually use the typed spread sheet as a reference tool once on site.
maybe i'm alone in that, though.

I like having something physically printed out - about an index card size or smaller that I just fold and put in my pocket - one per day - with a couple of extras. This year I'll also be taking pictures of some of my more detailed notes so that I can reference easily if need to.

I like the trick of taking a picture of the itinerary. That way I just had to look at the photo rather than waiting for a site to load. It saves the battery, too.

I like having a hard copy of my touring plan. (Just a single sheet of paper with a list of fast passes and stuff we want to see and do. I also list shops and place I want to eat at. It's easier to write stuff on paper and make changes. I don't bring my whole binder to the parks and I don't like taking my phone out.

I plan on a 4x6 card (possibly laminated). I don't want to have to stare at my phone constantly and it's easy for the kids to see what's next. That card also has enough room for meal and snack ideas too.

I put all of our ADRs in my phone and set a reminder for them. DH is always checking the MDE app to make sure we aren't missing anything either.

This is pretty much what I do, too. I keep my plans at a basic outline, with my FP+, ADRs, and a few other highlights I would like to see, and maybe what I would like to try for meal and snack ideas.

Haha, I take a picture of my cheat sheets on my phone. Really I have it memorized by the time we go.

If Im feeling spreed sheet separation anxiety, it always in our resort room so I can touch it later.

lol, you get me!! I take pictures of stuff I want to remember all the time - that's a great idea!

I write mine really small on a small piece of paper and keep it in the front flap of my purse. Easier to look at quickly vs dragging out a phone, turning it on and getting to the right screen to view a spreadsheet or app. That being said, if you have your email sent to your phone, email your excel sheet to yourself and then either save it to the phone or just always view via email. I can only get the top sheet to show, so use multi documents, not multi tabs in one document if you have several spreadsheets going.

I print a hardcopy of my spreadsheet and bring that along to the hotel.

Then, I jot down what ever info. I feel is necessary to carry in my pocket into the Parks.

This may simply be our FP+ time window and maybe an ADR confirmation code. At this point of any trip, we know the remaining priorities.

Personally, I leave my cellphone behind and let my wife take charge of the technology. First, she's better at it; second, she can't get angry for my checking the phone every 20 minutes and discussing wait times.

I do use mine but only because I have our itinerary and the park hours for the week all laid out on one spread sheet. I mostly pull it out just to check park hours. I also have all our dining reservation confirmation numbers plugged in as well, because I'm Canadian and our cell phones don't work unless we're connected to WI-FI it's just best to have a hard copy backup just in case. Ya never know.
We are also two adults that travel light so that helps.
