How do we know which conferences are in town?

Hello,

we are travelling Oct 12-16 and I keep reading that resorts are all booked up, tc, that some conferences are going on...how can we fid out what kind of conferences are happening (and does that mean daytime crowds are manageable since people attend the conference???)

Trying to make myself feel better about resortsbeing all booked up!

Im going nuts with this one, I found a website that listed conventions through at least the summer of 08 but I cant find it as i sit here , when and if I find it again ill let you know. Im looking fevorishly (sp?) I found it as we stayed at CSR in 06 and maybe again in 08 and i was wondering about the conventions there

Which resort are you staying? AKL is all booked up because of the renovations for the DVC there, which caused some other resorts to be booked up with overflow. The real big deal is Food and Wine Festival.

Epcot will be crazy on the weekend because of it.
