How do we get from Grand Floridian to Yacht Club/Swan Dolphin?

Coworkers are going down for a convention and their colleagues are staying in different hotels.

Can you tell me the best way to get from the Grand Floridian to either the Yacht Club or Swan Dolphin Resort? Cab? Walk? About how long will it take?

The Free way is to take the monorail to the MK, get off and walk to the bus stop for the Yacht Club. If they want to then go to the swan or dolphin they can take the boat that stops at the yacht Club and Swan & Dolphin. It can take a while. If trying to save time they should take a cab.

Thanks They'll have appointments so I'm guessing they will want to get around as fast as possible.

Are cabs pretty easy to get at the hotels? Do you know approximately how long it would take to get from one hotel to the other via cab?

If you have the bellman call for a cab, it takes only a few minutes! i have never waited more than 5 minutes for a cab.

We always take a taxi from the GF to YC/BC. If there are more than 4 of you, the bellstand can request a taxi van for you. It's the fastest way to get from resort to resort. Have fun.

It would be about a 10-15 minute ride, depending on traffic.
