How do u fix slate?

I have a slate wall-hanging that my Mom asked me to glue back together.... what holds slate? Crazy glue? Hot glue gun? Has anyone had experience gluing slate back together??

The only things I can think of that would work are epoxy or maybe some sort of cement that you'd have to get a Home Depot.
