I have bought pajamas at the Disney store (this was a couple years ago) and they ran HUGE I bought a medium and I was swimming in them. Does anyone know if the t shirts (like the ones that are on sale for 4.99 right now) run big or small or normal? I have 6 of them in my cart online right now but I'm afraid to buy them cuz I'm not sure what size I should get. Thanks!

I can't answer your question, but I'd be really interested to know the answer as well. What a steal for 4.99, but I don't know what size to get. :confused3 Hoping someone comes along to help out soon.

The tee shirts generally run on the large size, too. I usually only need to buy a X-Large when at other stores I need to buy a XX-Large. (These are for men's shirts, of course.) :)

I just bought hubby and I the 4.99 shirts a couple of weeks ago- got them and they were running about a size bigger than we regularly wear. (He normally wears a large, bought a medium and it was fine).

Great deal!:cool1:

I bought around 10 or so shirts from disneyoutlet.com. I wanted 4 tinkerbell shirts for us 4 girls. DD - 9 yrs, DD - 12, DD - 5 and myself. I bought an XL for me, when I normally wear a L or so; a womans S for the 12 yrs; a womans XS for the 9 yrs and a childs M for the 5 year old. They all fit perfectly. All "Dont even Tink about it!" Tinkerbell shirts (the 5 year olds was just a bit different, but same color). I was nervous about buying the womans sizes for the 9 yr old, but wanted her to have the same shirt as the 12 yr old and myself. It worked perfectly.

My son, 10 yrs old, I bought a mans S - fit great.

All the shirts were great quality - worked out totatlly perfect. :hippie:

Most of the ones I have bought over the years (and I've got dozens of them) are at least one size too big. The problem then of course is "will they shrink"?
And the answer is "maybe some"--. For me large is usually too big off the rack (the sleeves are often below my elbow!), but semi-passable after washing. Medium fits perfectly off the rack, but then is almost always too small after washing.
I've rarely gotten a really good fit from a Disney T. I need the shoulder and chest size of a L. with the waist and sleeve length of a M.
Quite frustrating---.

It really depends on your size. ;)

The women's small is really like a medium+ on me. At WDW and at the Disney store, I usually buy the girl's size 14/16 and that fits very well for me.

I think they make them roomy for those tourists to belt them with fanny packs. LOL

I've also found them to run big. I ordered two women's size small and had to return them b/c they were too big. I'm not an extra small anywhere else, that's for sure. I still got DH an extra large. It may be a little roomier than a regular xtralarge, but he like the room in the shoulders. You might want to try to order a size down for yourself.

The t-shirt post sound right - sizes fairly accurate. I always buy the kids a size too big so it will last longer. I've had good-luck with t-shirts.

OT - if you purchase the create your own polos they are much smaller than stated sizes. I've emailed the disney store numerous times with no luck on solving the problem. They are short and wide with small arm holes that cut under the arms. Very dissappointed. I will not buy from them any more (even though I would love to take advantage of the sales).

We had the opposite effect for my DH. He usually wears a 2x and we always buy a 3x at Disney because they tend to shrink when washing. I, on the other hand, wear a large because I like them a little loose, and I still get the large at Disney.

Thanks everyone! I just placed my order for 6 of the shirts for me and 2 for DH. Hopefully they fit!

I have found that the t-shirts run about a size big, but the sweatshirts run a size small. I ordered a medium t-shirt and sweatshirt and could have gone with a small in the t-shirt, but a large in the sweatshirt. Also, be sure to turn the shirts insideout when washing. I've had some fading issues, but that seems to do the job.:laundy:

The men t-shirts usually run bigger.
The women t-shirts usually run smaller.

For me at least.
