Right now we are at the Poly from 12/17-12/23.....I was thinking of heading to the WL from 12/23-12/26.

I booked with a really great PIN and wondering how a split stay would work since we have free dining with our PIN.

Thanks.

you would have a package vacation tied to your poly stay. You would have your dining and tickets attached to this. (I'm assuming you would have 10 day tickets?) Then you would have a room only ressie for WL. Your park tickets will carry over, but your dining will not

You would check in to the Poly and get your KTTW with dining credits. Your dining credits would expire at midnight the day you check out of the Poly, so you would have them your first night at WL. Then you would need to pay OOP for the food the rest of the week, unless you bought a one day tix for each person in your party to make the 2nd stay a "package" and you could get the DDP again.. but not worth it.

When you check out of the poly you call someone to come get your bags. They will be waiting for you at WL later. Go have fun.. go check into WL later in the day. You might need new KTTW, or you can have your other ones recoded.

We did this last year (POFQ/Poly) and had little problems... it is the booking it that is confusing.

Sorry don't mean to highjack this thread but......

We are doing a split stay next year (a surprise for the kids). One week at POR then one week at POLY. I'm doing room only for both resorts and then I'll use DDE for ADR's and the kids will have tix from UT. My question is when we move to POLY will the UT tix carryover? I will have an AP so I'm only worried about the kids tix. :confused3

I don't understand your question. Since the kids' tickets aren't part of the room reservation, how could Disney possible restrict you from using them after you check out of a resort???

Will you have the UT tickets coded onto the kids' KTTW cards at POR? Even if you do this, it's no problem. If you check out of a resort but still have some days left on your tickets on your KTTW card, the KTTW card doesn't open that resort room door anymore, but the tickets on it can still be used. One is unrelated to the other. The card itself does not expire, just the room key part of it doesn't work anymore.

Sorry, I guess I left out a key ingrediant. :rolleyes1 Yes, I plan to have their UT tix coded to the KTTW cards at POR. So I if I'm understanding correctly the kids will have two KTTW cards once we check into POLY (one with their tix left on it and one for access to the POLY room)? :confused3

BTW, Thanks for your help Cleverocks!

You have it correctly!

And when you get to Poly, ask to have the tickets transferred onto the kids' new KTTW cards (Poly room keys). That way, they'll need only one card.
