How do Shops at Disney want you to pay?

We are leaving tomorrow for our Disney Cruise and then going to Disney World for two days. I am trying to figure out how much cash we will need in the parks.

Do the little gift shops take Out of State Checks? If not, do they take the usual credit cards?

Frequently.

;)

Not sure about the cruise line, but as far as I know, every shop/store in WDW will take Visa/MC/AMEX. Not sure about Discover...

Also not sure about out-of-state checks...

Guess I didn't answer much of your question! I'm sure somebody else will...

They will take Visa of course, or one of your children. Hey they have to replace those dolls in It's A Small World periodically.

We will gladly take cash, disney dollers, travelers checks,Bank checks or Credit cards.(MC.V.AMEX.JCB.DISC.Disney. most any of them)
Bank checks need 2 forms of ID,or a pasport. CC. and TC. may need an Id as well.

Some of the smaller carts cannot take CC as they do not have a phone connection.

Also, shmoogrrrl, if you are staying "on property," you can have charging privileges added to your park admission ticket/room key, so you won't even need to bring the CC itself with you. (You can use it at the shops and the restaurants as well, although not at most of the "carts," as disme said.)

They want your money, so they make it VERY easy for you to spend it!
