Dinner at Le Cellier

Tues (MK Day)

Dinner at Kona Cafe

Wed (Epcot Day)

Lunch at Sunshine Seasons
Dinner at Marakesh (think the kids will love the belly dancers!)

Thurs (AK/Epcot)
Breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe
Lunch at Pizzafari
Dinner at Garden Grill

Fri (MK Day)
Breakfast - ?
Lunch at Pinocchio's
Dinner at Concourse Steakhouse

Sat (???)

Any thoughts/suggestions? We at doing some favorites from last year (Le Cellier, Boma, Kona) and trying some new places (50's Prime Time, Marrakesh, Garden Grill, 1900 Park Fare).

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

My kids love the belly dancers at Marrakesh. We've done that twice. Also 50's Prime Time Cafe is one of our favorites.

I would skip Backlot Express and go for Sci-Fi. Even though we're on the DDP we always pay out of pocket for this one. It's reasonable and you can't beat the atmosphere or the burgers! Have fun.

you've picked excellent places! i have a lot of the same restaurants you have, actually. :) enjoy yourself, you are gonna have a great time!

It looks like you will be eating a lot. That was my first impression.
But you do have some really good places listed. I just don't think you'll need that much food.

Also, you have more table service places listed than what you will get with the dinning plan. So unless you will be doing a lot of sharing, you'll have to pay out of pocket for several meals.

I'm pretty sure the belly dancers are only at Marrakesh for lunch, but maybe its changed, Double check.

Everyone always raves about Kona for breakfast. Why not have breakfast there and dinner at LTT inside MK. Its the best characture interaction in all of WDW, imho.

If youre doing counter service at MGM, its gotta be Pizza Planet, doesnt it?

I know it's a lot of food, but DH gets grumpy if he's not fed three "real" meals every day. We'll share some meals, and pay OOP for the others.

We're on the dining plan but I don't let that limit my choices either. I would rather pay out of pocket for some place I like than force myself to use a cs credit. MGM IMHO really doesn't have good counter service. So we go to Sci-Fi (which is pretty cheap) and pay out of pocket. If I use too many credits I'll pay out of pocket at somewhere like the Plaza so I can still have a sit down lunch. We love the dining plan, but I wouldn't not go somewhere we like just because we had a limited number of credits.

disneymomnj: We're also going to be at WL for the exact same dates, on DDP and are going to a couple of the same restaurants you are (Boma, Le Cellier, WCC). We really enjoyed Prime Time 50's on our last trip.

This time we're trying Sci-Fi Diner. We're also going to Rose & Crown, Ohana,(never been) and LTT and Teppanyaki (2 of our favourites from our last trip)
Maybe we'll see you at breakfast on our last day. We have an 8:10 am ADR at WCC that morning as well!

Have fun!

We will be at Donalds breakfast and Boma the same time as you!!!
We are at Donalds at 8:40, and Boma at 5:50, what about you??

I see you're not spending much time at Disney MGM Studios, but if your kids like Italian food, you should try Mama Melrose's sometime. It's right near Muppets 3-D. Good for lunch or dinner; fabulous bread, appetizers, wine, etc. When I made our most recent ADR there the CM at Disney Dining told me it was her favorite.

P.S. I lived in St. Albert for a year, north of Edmonton. I like Florida better.

My first impression is that you have way too many adr's. I think you won't be able to move with all that food. We love to dine out too but find we just can't do more sitdowns than 2x a day so we pick lunch or breakfast at a disney restaurant and then dinner of course. If we are hungry we may pick up a donut, bowl of cereal, piece of fruit or a snack etc.. We just ate at Donald's last trip and it is very filling. There is no way we could doTuskers for lunch as well. I think that is part of the problem with the DDP for some of us . We like to go to certain restaurants and will go over the 1 sitdown dinner a day. People feel so guilty about not using cs meals that they try to put them in too, which way too much food. I think I am going to use the DDP but plan on not using at least two or 3 CS meals because I prefer an additional character breakfast or a lunch at a restaurant. Just a thought. I am having problems dealing with this in my own adr's:)

I like your selection of restaurants though but I would par them down a little:) JMO :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I did the Donalds/Tusker/Boma on my last trip. The only thing I am staying away from this time is the buffets...too much food gets consumed by me. I would rather stick with the regular TS places. I enjoyed Artist Point but maybe it's not appropriate for young kids.
