how do I use points if i buy

Would like to buy points to stay at Wilderness lodge anytime from May 1 - 18th for 7 nites. Is it possible to buy points for the Lodge or just the Villas? Thanks

Since they opened the Villas they stopped allowing you to use them at the Lodge, the same way for the Beach Club. You can use the points at another resort like Grand Floridian or something like that but it is usually not worth it. Hope that helps.

If you want a member to make you a reservation for VWL, you will need to tell them when you want to go. They will need exact dates to make a reservation. Plus they will need to know exactly how many people you will have and the ages of the people.

That is what renting points is all about. If you buy points, you purchase a real estate interest in DVC either by purchasing a resale from a timeshare real estate seller or from Disney.
