How do I use my laptop?

I also posted this on the resorts board.


We have never taken our laptop to WDW with us. How will I be able to access the internet? wireless? plug in?

Your experience would be much appreciated.

We recently stayed at the Swan, and they have internet connections in every room. My DH just loved having it available! Our computer did need to be plugged in.

We also downloaded our digital camera every night, so that we didn't have to worry about losing all our pics if the camera got lost, nor did we have to worry about filling up our memory card. And, when we were on the ship (we did the DCL cruise before going to WDW) we were able to check out our pics before we bought pics from Shutters.

It will depend on which hotel you are staying in. At the minimum you can have dial up. With some of the resorts they have high speed internet for a fee (plug in)... you can read more here

The Swan and Dolphin have High Speed internet (plug in) as a part of the $10/day resort fee you pay

Dial up should be fine, we are only bringing it for fun.
