How do I use a BDC and Coupon code for Budget?

I read on their website that you can use both, but I have no idea how and can't find anything that explains it

With budget the coupon isn't reflected in final on-line res.

You just take it with you & present it at the desk.

Be sure to call their 800 # and verify if the coupon will be accepted for your res once you make it.

I've got one on hold for June (hedging bets waiting for best deal ); coupon I was initially going to use didn't apply to res. - had to have agent change car category. Her advice was to bring ALL the different coupons I have; just in case one doesn't work.

fyi, they do have a fastbreak system (similar to Alamo's QS); but you have to stop @ desk 1st res & swipe card - albiet in a shorter line.

Just made a Budget reservation. You can enter the BCD code at the start. As you progress through the reservation, you will have an option of adding a coupon code.

My largest coupon ($35) wouldn't accept this way on line, had to call to apply as stated above. Phone Rep told me this happens quite frequently

Now I'm starting to be concerned they won't honor it when I do show up @ desk? Anyone else have this happen (coupon is from Sams)
