How do I upgrade a Ticket

Last June I purchased 4 non-exp 10 day tickets with the intention of upgrading them at WDW. Now, I can't remember why I did this & didn't just purchase them with pluses & park hopping, but I guess there was a reason.

How do I go about upgrading them? Does anyone know the cost?

There's a sticky at the top of the TPAS forum that has a complete guide to upgrading. In a nutshell, an upgrade should work this way if permitted:

• Use the ticket to enter a park once. This will allow the ticket to be "bridged" from the price you paid for it to the current gate price for the same ticket.
• Go to any Guest Services and ask to have to upgrade that you want added to the tickets.
• Pay the difference between the gate price of the tickets that you currently hold and the cost of a ticket with the number of days and/or entitlements that you are upgrading to.

The cost of adding both hopping and WPF&M is currently $84.14 with tax. It is the same price regardless of whether the ticket is for an adult or a child.

Have you used the tickets yet? If you have not used the tickets yet then you can add park hopping and the pluses.

Nope - haven't used them yet. At the time I purchased them I read about upgrading them, but that was SO long ago & I forgot!

Okay, just wanted to make sure. In that case, post #2 has a very good description of it. Just remember to use your tickets first to maintain the discount.

What are your thoughts about buying non-expiring now from someone like Undercover Tourist before they are all gone in lieu of waiting to see what the Magic+ system will be?
