how do i turn pics

when they are saved sideways?
I know how to rotate them & I thought I had it saved rotated correctly but when I try to add to FB they are still sideways

In FB once you add them, when you view them in your album there is an option to rotate them down in the lower right corner. The boxes with arrows in them.

okay - thanks I'll check it out - is it there when you are adding just one pic also or is it only in the album?

What about if I'm emailing them to someone? Won't they be sideways there too?

When you click on the photo, you'll see this over on the right:

From your album:

In that blank space above "share" there are two buttons that wouldn't copy. They look like a rectangles with arrows. That's what you click to rotate.

ETA- if they still look sideways, you may just need to refresh your browser.

Are you sure you saved the pic after you rotated it? It doesn't sound like you saved it correctly, or that you accidentally used the original pic.

If you have a Photobucket.com account, you can use their editing tools to rotate the pic again, then save it replacing the original pic.

If you are talking about pictures in the My Pictures folder, all you have to do is left click once to highlight the pic, then right click. You will see the option to rotate clockwise, or rotate counter clockwise. Click on the one that you want and it is done!

It sounds like you didn't save the rotate. You can rotate them and move from page to page with some photo applications without actually saving the change.
