How do I trade to someone in my house?

I have some things in my own VMK account that I would like to pass to my son's vmk account. Is there a way to trade without both players being logged in at the same time?

The only other way to trade items in this situation without having both players logged in at the same time is to find a player you trust that is friends with both accounts agree to hold the items while you switch accounts. Keep in mind, no matter how well you think you know someone, you can never be absolutely sure, and they might take off with your stuff. There is always a risk if you try to use this solution.

No, there is a different way. Once you're fully logged into one account, then click this:

Then log into your sons account. You'll have both windows open, and then you can trade from one account to another. Note, this will slow down your computer while you're doing it, so if you have an old computer, it might not work.

I was basing my answer on her caveat that it be done without both players logged in. I figured that meant her computer could not handle running two accounts at once.

I did think of another way to accomplish this with only one player loggin in at a time, but it requires a Quest Kiosk on the account that you are trading from.
If you have a quest kiosk, set it up in your room and block off the door so that nobody can enter that way. Make a simple quest with only 1 task like: Wave. Put all the items you want to trade to your son in the quest as prizes, then link the room with a teleporter set to your son's room. Log off your account, log onto his and enter your quest room through the teleporter. Complete the quest and all the stuff is successfully transferred.
Obviously, you would need to have a shared set of teleporters between you and your son, but they could even be the cheap buyable sets and I would even offer to help transfer one of them to your son's accoutn for you. I would offer to help with the other items, but I don't know what the items are and I do not expect you to trust me for that. This did work. We had previously tried logging in with both accounts in two windows, but for some reason it wouldn't work.
