Ok so we've booked out trip and I would like to dabble in pin trading ( I know this can become addicting...so we'll start with baby steps.)

Where can a get a reasonable lanyard? I have a few pins...think I will start at cheappins.com-they had some great prices! Does it have to be a disney lanyard? can I put them on a hat (I happen to think the minnie mouse hat is kind of cute!)

I'm sure you've seen this posted before-any help is appreciated!

YOu can put them on anything you'd like. Lanyard, hat, etc. I've used a lanyard (sometimes annoying), a hat (always a good thing for sun), and a pin fanny pack. Each has their advantage.

You can certainly pick up a lanyard at the parks ($25 I think for a starter pin set/lanyard, $15 for the lanyard). I cheated with my sister last time we were there.. she used one of those water holder straps for her pins (sort of like a lanyard, but different use).

If you want a lanyard -- LMK! I have a few extras.
Or you can buy pin trading starter sets in the parks. (Four pins and one lanyard, $25.)
Two styles of pins. One to keep and one to trade.
