How do I sign up to try and get a PIN?

I am on Disney's site and do not understand this pin process and what I would need to do to get one. PLEASE HELP!

Check the "Support Group for us no pin people" or the other threads entitled things like, how to get a pin, or how I got a pin, or the method for getting a pin.

It appears the most important things are to create an account on the Disney website, if you don't have one already, and then to create at least one itinerary under the 'My Vacation' tab. Some people create itineraries to say that they are still looking for accomodations, some say that they are staying at a non-Disney hotel, some say other, some have two itineraries. You can put as much or as little information on the account as you want, and price out any number of vacations (the more expensive the better), but don't save them. Only save at least one itinerary.

If after a week you don't get one, create another email and then create another Disney account for that NEW email. Rinse, repeat. Some people use different mailing addresses in these different accounts, some misspell their name or use a middle name, and create an account for every person who is going to WDW in your party.

I'll be honest with you... my husband got a pin in the early spring and has NEVER done anything to get one. He's never been, never looked at the site, never registered and swears he's never even purchased anything in a Disney Store. Grr that man! haha... of course, it was for this spring, which is when we couldn't go if we had wanted to, so I'm wishing, praying and hoping he gets one for next spring!!!!
