On our last cruise we didn't fly home right away, so I have no idea how to do this...

How can we print out our airline boarding passes on the ship? Any suggestions?

If you are on the Magic and Wonder you can sign up for the internet and print them at the internet cafe, after checking in online...but it will cost you for the internet and printing.

Or, you could have someone at home check you in and you just print your boarding passes at the kiosk in the airport.

On the Dream there are no printers for guest's use (no internet cafe) so you could bring your own laptop/smartphone and sign on the internet onboard and then print the boarding passes at the airport...or use the scan feature on your smartphone.

Guest Services WILL NOT print your boarding passes.....

For cruises out of PC if you airline fits the criteria and you are flying a participating airline and you are taking DCL transfers one way (the trip to the airport is most logical - $35pp) you can participate in the OAC (onboard airline check in) program where DCL prints your boarding pass and airline luggage tags and delivers them to your cabin the last night of the cruise...you put your checked bags in the hall and you won't see them again until your home airport.

But, I believe these are for just cruises out of PC.

Thank you. We will be on the Wonder. Sounds like a pain to print them -- too bad GS wont do it, but I had a feeling they wouldn't... I guess we'll have to try to print them since we're worried about getting to plane on time.

It is really not bad...we have done it a few times....as I said..if you can get someone at home you trust to check you in then all you have to do is print the passes at the airport.

Can you imagine how busy Guest Services would be just printing out people's boarding passes....:dance3:

If you are flying Southwest, take advantage of their Early Bird Check-In. For $10 they will automatically check you in and you don't have to worry about it. Just print your passes when you get to the airport.

There's no-one who can do it at home for us, and we're not on SW. We may end up trying to do it on the ship since I think that may save us lots of time at the airport... I guess I'll wait and see what other people flying out of Vancouver are doing (once people start coming home from the AK cruises).

If you are doing on board check in thru DCL, they will print the boarding passes for you and deliver them to your cabin on the second to last morning.

On any airline which requires an advance on line check in, you can check in and then print the passes at the airport--no need to pay DCL's printing fees.

When I had no one at home to do my check in, my TA did it for me! Just another aspect of the service component of their business. I didn't want to waste my Castaway time cursing at the computers.

Will you be able to check in online since the flight will be considered an international flight?

We are on the AK cruise in a few weeks. We have booked DCL transfers for after the cruise. With it being an international cruise; does anyone know if they will check us in and allow us to check in luggage like they would out of PC? Unfortunately, it does not seem they have signed up with US Direct:(.
