How do I post a picture?

I have enjoyed all of the pictures in everyones posts and I want to know how to do that. Is there a thread that will help explain this to me? I went to technical support and couldn't find a how-to thread. Thanks in advance for any help. --Renee

If you are posting a picture from a website, it will need to be in this format:

I can never get it to work for me! Do you have to upload your photo through the DIS gallery? Even then, I can't find a way to upload them there!

I think that the photo gallery is broke right now. You need to find another site to upload pictures to.

If you have a geocities site, you can rename a picture so that it has a .txt at the end instead of a .jpg and then you can go from there. If you get that far, feel free to pm me and I'd be glad to help.

Or just pm me and I will help you to get started with a geocities site.

I have decided to post a link to an Imagestation album that I created. Soo, if you'd like to please click on the link below to see an album with some pictures of my wonderful children. You will notice, there is quite an age difference between my kids. My DS is 15 and my DD is 2 and will be 3 in July. When our DD was born we began an entirely new adventure.

Just an FYI, a txt extension will not work and geocities impairs its linking.

I have decided to give up on the image thing for awhile. I just can't handle the stress right now, Ha!

The .txt works for me from the geocities site, always has. Here is an example.

That's why I like the DIS, I learn something every day. I have never known geocities to successfully link, repetitively, nor any other extension other than a jpg or gif to produce an image using UBB. Neat.
