How do I make ADR now that I've booked our trip?

I booked our trip online this morning.

Do I have to figure out exactly where we want to eat dinner everyday and call and make ADR, or go online somewhere and make them?

I know one breakfast we want to do and one dinner we want to do but that leaves 5 other dinners and the other counter service meals we'll just wing it.

:p I have no clue, being a first timer with the kids and all!

If you know where you want to eat that b-fast and dinner, call 1-407 WDW-DINE and make those reservations; get them out of the way. With the Dining Plan it is next to impossible to get a walk in TS - so you will have to plan your meals. Take a look at the extended hours, show times, parades, etc and pick which parks you would like to be in on each day, and plan your meals around that.

What we do is go to a park in the morning, take a break back at the hotel; get cleaned up; and make our ADR for 6:30-7:00ish in the park we want to spend the evening it. We had DD5 and DS4, so we still need to take the break in the afternoon. Whatever you do, make sure you enjoy yourself and don't get stressed out.

Don't know how far out your trip is, but I found the easiest way to tell when you can make ADR's is to use this website: http://www.pscalculator.net/pslist.php

It also gives you the phone number to use and a place to write down your confirmation numbers.

Also, if you're not sure about what restaurants you'll like, check out this website: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm for a list of menus.

Have fun choosing!

We're going the last week of September.

I'm working on getting those two reservations right now, I'm actually on hold!

THEN I'm going to read around and see if we can't get our other TS credits scheduled too.

THanks for everyones help.

We bought base tickets...any recommendations for MK, Epcot, and AK?

:teeth: Sorry, that would help wouldn't it? :teeth:

Yes, we are traveling with our 3 kids. Son age 9, daughter age 6 and son age 2 (who was whining/crying as I typed the question earlier or I might have thought to add details!). She LOVES Cinderella (and the other princesses too) that is why I INSISTED we would have at least one interaction with her.

I did schedule the Cinderella dinner and the Chef Mickey breakfast, honestly the rest do NOT have to have character interaction at all.

And we are on the dining plan, if that even matters.

I did manage to go back and read the menu for The Coral Reef restaurant too and have decided that will not be somewhere we eat. We're not into seafood (which I almost KNEW was what they served but dh is a big saltwater aquarium fan so I browsed it anyways. Really, we're just plain eaters, doesn't have to be anything fancy, nothing exotic, not really spicy things either.

Okay...just a few more thoughts.

Since we are not park-hopping I've narrowed this down. I am pursuing menus too trying to determine what places meet what I want then I'm looking for reviews here and reading. them.

We'd like breakfast somewhere CLOSE or in to MGM say at a counter-service place?

DINNER at Animal Kingdom..or just close by I guess.

We'll be at EPCOT and MKfor extra morning hours. I'd like to find somewhere for dinner in the MK our first day there.

How about either Crystal Palace or LTT in MK.
Whispering Canyon Cafe @ Wilderness Lodge (beautiful resort that you could browse).
MGM-I think your kids would like Sci-Fi

You are already doing one of our favorites: Chef Mickey's.

I would definately look over the menus at www.allearsnet.com

Also...something I just thought of we're booked for 5 nights/6 days...are our credits for the dining plan based on our nights or our days?
