I can review the videos on the camera, but I can't transfer to my computer! what am I doing wrong? ANY help will be much appreciated!!:goofy:

Try looking in your manual. You could also use a card reader and the card will show up as a drive on your computer. That way you do not have to use their software.

"Try looking in your manual" ...that was helpful.

should be the same way you get photos off. I have a Kodak PnS and use the Kodak easyshare software and I transfer videos off along with my pictures all the time...exact same way...select and transfer or transfer all. DOn't know if that is helpful as I don't know what progam you use to transfer from your camera to computer, but whatever it is you should be able to do it the same way as your pictures.

Really??? Are you going to insult me like that??? I have never even once seen you post on here. I have been a very regular contributor for many years, so show some respect! Just because this is the Internet, it does not give you the right to be rude.

And as a matter of fact, that is actually excellent information. A very large amount of questions posed on here can easily be answered if people would just read the documentation that comes with their products. And if you will go back and actually READ my post, I even offered a second option to solve the problem. I was actually trying to help.

I believe an apology is in order.

P.S. I researched and see that you are a Community Board regular, where rudeness abounds, so just to let you know, we are usually more polite around here. Apology or not, I will be sure to not try to help you again.

What type of camera do you have?

What format does your camera take videos on (.avi, .wma, .mpeg, .mov ?)

What type of operating system do you have on your computer?

If it's XP or Vista, you should have a box that comes up that asks you what you want to name your pictures or your videos and where do you want to place them.

Or, it may default to a folder called My Videos.

I would say looking in the manual is a good answer, as most manuals will tell you how the camera works, how set it up, how to transfer and view image. Have you installed the Kodak software that came with the camera? Kodak might be using a file format that other programs on your computer can not read.

I use a card reader, and gave up on the software and cord thing for my kodak easyshare camera to transfer pictures & videos to my computer. I found it alot easier, and had I known about card readers much sooner, I would've started to use them.
