Hi, I am taking my DS10 and his friend who is 13 to Disney World Dec 8th and will have 3 full days there. We are staying offsite and renting a car. We'd like to get the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream and try Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe. I made a reservation at Kona and know that Beaches does not take reservations.

What is the best way to get to Kona Cafe if that is the first and only thing on property we will be doing that day. I made the reservation for the morning we leave so we'll be heading to the airport afterwards.

Also, what resort do I park at for Beaches and Cream? Will they allow me to park if I'm not staying at the resort? I don't want to do the Kitchen Sink when we're walking World Showcase because I think we'll be trying lots of food as we take our tour of World Showcase. I was thinking of doing it on the day we do Animal Kingdom, After Animal Kingdom head over to Beaches and then either call it a day or do some Hollywood Studios.

I'm not exactly sure where Beaches and Cream is.

Thanks!:surfweb:

What resort are you staying in?

The best way to get to Kona other than taking a taxi is going to be to either go to Epcot, TTC or MK and then get on the monorail to the Polynesian.

To get to the Poly, I would go just go ahead and drive to the resort (Poly) for your ADR.

Beaches n Cream is at the Beach Club.

Beaches and Cream is located at the Beach Club, one of the Epcot area resorts. You are allowed to park at the resort for up to three hours while you are enjoying the resort (i.e., shopping, eating, looking around), but you cannot park there, enjoy the resort, and then go to a theme park. If you do plan to go to Hollywood Studios (DHS) after eating at Beaches & Cream, I would recommend parking at DHS and then taking the boat over to the Yacht/Beach Club (it'll be the second stop). The boats to DHS run for up to an hour after DHS closes.

Yes drive to the Poly have your breakfast and then head to the airport. In fact that's our new end of trip thing, but we start driving home. We have eaten at Boma and Whispering Canyon Cafe. Just tell the guard at the gate for the Poly what you are doing. They may give you a 3 hour parking pass but that shouldn't be an issue.

Also if you are planing on going to DHS after B&C just park at DHS and walk or take the boat to the beach club. You also don't have to pay for parking at DHS since you already did at AK.

Its really a wash on walking or the boat, time wise, getting to B&C.

Thanks for the ideas. We have a rental car and are staying at the Residence Inn at Sea World. I didn't know you could take boats between the Boardwalk and Hollywood Studios. Very Cool, the kids will love that. So we can go to Animal Kingdom, then head over and park at Hollywood Studios and take the boat to the boardwalk for Beaches and Cream. Nice!

Sounds like driving directly to the Poly on our last day for our ADR makes the most sense since we won't be going to a park that day.

Thanks for the input!:surfweb:

No, you would get off at the Yacht/Beach boat dock, not the Boardwalk. Beaches and Cream is located in between the Yacht Club and Beach Club, facing the pool area.

When you get off the dock, head toward the back lobby entrance of Yacht Club. Turn right and follow the interior hallway around Captain's Grille restaurant, take a door that leads outside just past Yachtsman Steakhouse. Beaches and Cream's entrance is just outside that area.

Thanks for the clarification. I was never quite sure of the exact location of Beaches and Cream. That helps alot!:surfweb:
