OK, I prolly should have posted this on the Transportation board, but I figured you guys know more about getting to Franck's.

My sales guy is taking us on a 9am site visit to Epcot, but he says he can't come get us at Pop Century (we're spending $$$ and they can't even give us a lift? Grrrr....).

What's the best way to get to Franck's from POP Century? I don't really want to spend an hour on the buses, and it sounds like a taxi will be about $20.

If we suck it up and take the taxi, how do I tell the driver where to drop us? I'm still fuzzy on where the WP/Franck's is in relation to the Grand Floridian and the Magic Kingdom.

Thanks!

The WP/Francks is located between the GF and Poly. If you take the MK bus and then monorail to GF or Poly you can then walk over to Francks. Its not a bad walk.

Hi there!!

I were you, I'd just take the Disney Transportation bus from the hotel to the Magic Kingdom.

From the Magic Kingdom, take the resort monorail (not the one that is express to the Transportation & Ticket Center!) It will stop first at the Contemporary, then the Transportation & Ticket Center, then the Polynesian, and finally the Grand Floridian. Get off at the Grand Floridian. Stay to the right when you walk into the hotel and walk down the grand staircase. At the bottom of the staircase make a U-ish type turn to the right so that you walk behind the grand staircase and go out the doors leading outside. From there you will see the main walking path to the Wedding Pavilion/Francks (it's sort of straight ahead.) There are signs leading you there (which point you to the GF Health Club/Spa, Wedding Pavilion, and Polynesian.) It's just beyond the GF Spa/Health Club facility.

It's "technically" on the Grand Floridian's property, so it's a really really quick walk from the GF to Franck's. Eric and I found it really nice actually- such a pretty walk along the water, especially with your significant other! :cloud9:

If I were you, I'd save yourself the $20 and the hassle of a cab and leave at 8am. Maybe you could get up a little bit earlier and make breakfast arrangements at 1900 Park Fare at around 7:45am and then walk to Francks at 8:45am... or plan to have tea in the afternoon so you make your trip a little more worth it :)

Good luck and I hope that helps!!! :goodvibes

Thank you both! I am printing out these detailed instructions right now! :thumbsup2

If you find you have a little time, you can also take a boat from MK to either the Poly or GF... it's a nice ride!
