How do I get there from here?

Well, given the reduced park hours, I broke down and rented a car from the Avis at the Hilton. I have to pick it up at 9 am. My question is what is the best way to get from POR to the Hilton?

Do I take the bus to DD and then walk to the Hilton? Would the boats be quicker? What time do they start the bus/boat to DD? Or would I just be better off to call a cab?

My flight arrives at MCO too late to rent a car from there so I have to get from POR to the Hilton to pick this car up.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Avis at MCO is open 24/7. You can pick up your car whenever your flight arrives.

hmmm.....this is interesting as most sites I checked for the car said that the rental agencies closed at 11 pm at MCO...

I'd call Avis and recheck. I know that most of the airlines are cutting their first and last flights of the day, so maybe there are no arrivals in Orlando after 11:00pm.

However, it seems like most of the rental car agencies will stay open until at least 30 minutes after the last flight has landed to accomodate psgrs.

ty flying circus! You have been a great help to me as I plan for this trip. No chance you'll be my stewardess is there?
:)

ty all. I changed my reservation to Dollar at MCo, and will end up saving money in the process!

Sorry LucyStorm-

I am furloughed until at least Jan 31! Then, hopefully, I'll be back in the skies!!

Darn flyingcircus! I thought we might be able to have the DIS's first meet at 30,000 feet!:D
