How do I get my PCs networked?

Rob,

How did you set up the wireless connection in your hotel? I would be interested in case I take the laptop to the states at some point. I am 'wireless' at the moment but have cable modem connection through NTL.

Would be very interested and grateful! By the way, how's CA! Most jealous!

Hi John

I have a wireless card for my laptop (new .11g card from Belkin) and have signed up for the Boingo service which by coincidence offered wireless connections in the hotels that I had booked in San Francisco and Disneyland. Getting an internet connection is then simply a case of entering your user name and password. I chose Boingo's pay-as-you-go plan, which costs about $8 for a 24 hour connection (you can also pay hourly).

There seem to be fewer Boingo hotspots in Orlando, but T-Mobile have hotspots in most Starbucks outlets.

Regards

Rob

PS: Greetings from Disneyland. Mickey says hello...
