how do I get from MGM to TL?

Is there a direct bus or do I need to use a resort or the TTC as a transfer station????

You need to use a resort as a transfer to get to TL.

From the Studios you can take the Friendship boat to either the Swan/Dolphin (first stop), Yacht/Beach clubs or Boardwalk and take the bus from the resort to Typhoon Lagoon.
You can also walk to these hotels from the Studios but it is a long walk (15-20 minutes at a brisk pace).

From the resort boat dock you'd have to walk though a hotel to get to the bus stop. Probably easier to take a bus to CSR, OKW, POR or SSR and then change buses.

Cab would probably be a better choice, you may have to wait a while for each bus.

Are there cabs waiting at MGM or is that something you need to set up ahead of time???

But if you walk...you only need to walk as far as the tennis courts then follow the walkway to the right by the parking lot next to the tennis courts...this brings you to the driveway entrance to BW...across the street sort of to the left are the covered bus waiting area....not a bad walk at all...
