we are doing dinner at ohana's. how do i get back to pop after that if mk is closed?

Or take a bus from Poly to DTD and then transfer to a Pop bus.
This is a long trip.
I budget (and save up) for a taxi ride after dinner. Much nicer way to end the evening.

DH and I had this adventure after leaving California Grille and not even thinking about things being closed that late. To get from the Contemporary to Kidani around midnight and after too much wine, it was like our own Expedition Everest (in heels!!) :cool1: If I recall, we walked to MK from Contemporary (monorail was closed) and then took a bus to DTD and from there got a bus to Kidani.

I would probably consider putting a Plan B together. Our Plan B was "Well, we could always take off our shoes and run it." :rotfl2:

I have done the WL to DTD to CBR trip and it was not fun. DTD is not a fun transfer point at night..... so many people are trying to catch buses.... I would budget for a cab......

You probably took a bus to DTD from the CR. There are no buses between DTD and any of the parks, so your recollection can't be correct (mine not be either after a long dinner and plenty of wine). That still can be a long trip and quite an expedition. I am one who tries to take Disney transportation whenever possible, ande even I would use a cab for resort-to-resort trips late at night unless I was close to a park that was still open.

We took a bus from poly to AOA after a late night there. It was 18 plus tip, so 20 as other already stated.

I assume you meant to say "taxi"?

You're probably right. What I mainly remember is a lot of laughing at ourselves!!

:) After dinning at CA Grill and Bluezoo....must...use...taxi...can't..walk... (it is a struggle to put on a seat belt after those meals) :rotfl2:

maybe we are just getting older and lazy...

Any of the bell men can get a taxi pronto. I agree with the $20 trip cost.

If you don't want to taxi:

First, check if there is a Halloween or Christmas party that night at MK. In which case, transportation will still be running.

Second, check if any park has EMH. If it's still open, you can go there to transfer.

Third, bus to Downtown Disney and transfer.
