I am a newbie and have posted a couple of questions, now can't figure out how to "find" myself again.

There isn't a way any more. If you want to follow your posts, you need to change the options below before you hit the "submit" button. There is a way to get an email when someone replies to your post. Also, there is a check mark next to the title of the post that shows you have subscribed to the thread.

Not sure if I got all the technical terms right.

I'd say there IS a way! What I do is use the search function (you'll see that across the top near the right side in dark blue). Click on search, then click on advanced search then search by user name. Then put your user name in the text box and click on the search button. Viola, you'll find all your posts!

you can also use the suggestion from the PP; however, I've found that I only receive a portion of those posts that I subscribe to so I never depend on that; however, by signing up for a subscription, I can then go into the "User CP" (again, you'll see that across the top near the left side in dark blue) and click on "list subscriptions" on the left side (as the ones that appear just by clicking on "user CP" button only show the newly added subscriptions and not all of them).

hope this helps.

I believe when you post in a thread it automatically subsribes you to that thread...then you can just go to your "user cp" and view subscriptions.

On the top of the page on the right side is quick links, click that and go down to subscribed threads. They should be there. Another way is to click on User CP and they are listed there also.

it only automatically subscribes you to that thread IF, before you submit your post, you use the drop down box to subscribe (i.e., instant, daily, weekly). Otherwise, it defaults to no subscription.

Really?? I've never had to do that. All I did with this thread is make a post and I've gotten new post notification and it is listed in my subscribed threads...:confused3

Hey all

here is the easiest way to find you posts now.

First go to User CP up on and to the left corner Under the DISboards.com
than go down the column on the left till you see EDIT OPTIONS
click on that
Than go to the second "box" the messaging and notification box

You'll see this

Default Thread Subscription Mode
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread. Do not subscribe No email notification Instant email notification Daily email notification Weekly email notificationDefault Thread Subscription Mode:

if you click no email notification like above you are subscribed but will not get email updates to each thread you can pick you setting.......

Once your set to subscribe to find your posts go click again onthe UserCP
and all the threads you have posted on will show there
the ones with new replies will be there in bold the others will show when you click on VIEW ALL SUBSCRIBED THREADS on the right side

Hope this explains it
any questions just let me know:thumbsup2

I was having trouble finding my posts too.
Now I go to the very first post that I made (easiest to remember), click on my name, go down to 'find all posts', click on that and everything I've written will come up on the screen. It sometimes takes a few seconds to load.
I like this way because it takes me right to my post instead of to the beginning of a thread and I can just read the posts that were made after mine.
Hope this helps!

yep you must have your default set to "on" for auto; mine is set to "off".
