I have a ressie for January and can see it on My Disney Experience. It shoes our tickets (not package) that are linked but doesn't show how much I've paid, if my room rate went up with 2016 price release or how much I still owe. Does anyone know if there is someplace on the site that shows this info?

Can't do it. If you only booked a room without a full package your payment is due at the time of arrival. You can call and check/pay down your balance, but it wont show on the site.

Go to the WDW site, click on the "My Disney Experience" tab at the top of the page, and it will drop down. You should see "My reservations and tickets." Click on that tab and it should load all of your itinerary including balance. Your balance will be in the first section of that drop down. It takes a few seconds to load. Hope this helps.

For some reason I can never see it. Tried it on a few different computers too. Maybe its just something weird with my reservation. I was told it was because I didn't have the actual "package" but who knows. Hope that works!

I'm pretty sure you're correct, it only shows online if you have a vacation package booked through Disney. So room onlys, and packages booked with a TA don't show the balance online.

For some reason mine never shows. I would call the Disney reservations number and they could email you a copy or your balance.

I just booked a room only last night.....it shows everything in my email.....since you don't pay anything except the deposit when you book, it should be the same leftover....

I think that's a rediculous policy. We are going for 10 nights, which adds up to a chunk of money. If the site is supposed to make your planning more convenient, why wouldn't they show where your at with your room balance. I prefer not to have to pay it all off in one payment and having to call and sit on hold to make a payment or check balance defeats the purpose of MDE in my opinion.

I agree, I think it's a bit silly/annoying that I can't see my balance or pay down a RO reservation online. If I understood her correctly, the CM I spoke to this morning said I could make payments using the automated phone system. So at least I can avoid sitting on hold, I guess. I wonder if the system will send an email receipt, too, which would show the current balance? One can hope.

They better be able to provide a receipt for that kind of money, especially knowing how unreliable Disneys computer system is!

I usually run at about a 20% rate of getting a receipt after making a payment.

After I pay my balance with a package I always ask for a confirmation email to be sent. I have never gotten an email that shows that my balance is $0. Such a big company making lots of money you would think their web site would be much more user friendly.
