How do I do this?

We (family of 4) are booked for 10 days in August. We had used a PIN code and reserved 2 rooms at POP with a MYW package, 40% room discount. We want to take advantage of the free dining so I was going to rebook the four of us into one room with the dining plan, and then book a separate room using the PIN code. Disney is telling me I can't have two reservations using two promotions at the same time. I am not sure why, as they are still getting more $$ from than if I cancel the second room and go to only one room.

Any ideas on how I can get that second room with the PIN code price? Thanks!

I don't know if this would work but could you put one res under a different first name? Like use the intial of your first name with your middle name or use your spouse's name?
I am sure there may be more of an expert on here than I - so maybe they will have better suggestions.
Good luck!

I don't think there is a way you can. It is 2 different promotions for the SAME dates and the SAME person making the ressies. Disney considers that stacking discounts as well and does not allow it.The only way would be to change the free dining into someone elses name and only book one room for it, or make 2 different ressies. The first to be 5 days under the 40% for 2 rooms, and then the second to be 5 days for 2 rooms under the free dining, but it will involve more than one deposit each time and require checking in and out 2x. On the free dining promotion everyone in every room booked under your name needs to be on the SAME reservation.

What if your husband made the FD ressie and you made the 40%. That wou

Just a thought....if you were able to get a reservation in your husband's name..then it's not guaranteed that the rooms would be adjoining...it's considered a request upon if they can do it.

When you book 2 rooms and need them to be adjoining....they only will guarantee it if the reservation has 2 adults and 2 children on it. I just booked a client and she wanted adjoining with her parents...so 3 adults and 2 children and it's considered a request....reservation dept told me now if there was only 2 adults in the room...those reservations are more "guaranteed".

Something to double check with Disney and to think about. Not saying it couldn't happen that will honor the request but it's not a guarantee.

If you do have 2 rooms, just make one in each of the adults names. YOu should have no problem with that. The free dining will go with the room you put it with so make sure it's who you want it to be for. They might think you are trying to feed more on the free dining than you are supposed to by sharing meals etc, but it's worth a try.
