I'm thinking of renting points for SS on December 1 for one night only. How in the world do I do this???

Go to the DIS Rent/Trade board, read the FAQ and posting guidelines at the top of the board, and then submit your request as outlined in the posting guidelines.

When your post slides off the first page, I'd go to it and post a reply that just says "bump" which will kick it back where people will see it.

You'd better get moving, because that's the busiest time of the year for DVC and even a one-night stay will be tough to get.

If there is no points availability, you'll have to pay cash and use CRO...which might be a better idea anyway. Dec 1 is a Saturday night, and DVC points are about double on Friday and Saturday. You may find a cash deal less expensive than renting a points ressie on the weekend.
