How do I do this? AP ?

We have decided to go deluxe if we can get AP rates July 5th (value starts) now I know I shouldn't count on the rates and if no rates are available we won't be able to stay as long as I'd like to or possibly switch to a moderate.
So how do I go about this? Call CRO and book WL for 10 days and then if the rates come out call and apply AP? What if the rate doesn't come out, can I just switch to a mod and have the deposit applied there? Is this a real hassle or are the CM's used to doing this? One last question...how far in advance do AP rates come out... 2-3 months before?

You will be able to check rates for that time period for past years.
The only hassle will be waiting for AP rates (if they are avl) and making a phone call.
