how do i do my signature?

ok ill probably sound stupid now but i know how to write words on my signature but when i try and put a picture on it tells me to type something there so i do and weird writing comes up (with no pic) how do i do it?? xxx

Your image links need to point to a URL on the web. Are your images hosted on a site like Photobucket or Village Photos?
