How do I close?

I am still wondering(I've been for about 2 months)how do you close a thread?

Do you mean have a thread locked so no more posts can been made?

If there's a problem on a thread, use the little

symbol on the left (under the names) on any of the posts in that thread. This will open a box where you can report the problem with that thread or post to a moderator. If a thread's gotten really ugly, the moderator may choose to close it.
