How do I change preferences for a subscribed thread?

Yesterday I subscribed to a thread but apparently forgot to indicate that I did not want emails letting me know every time someone posts to that thread! Now I'm getting emails out the wazoo and I don't see any place I can change that setting, I only see how to unsubscribe, which I don't want to do. Anyone know?

To to User CP, then List Subscriptions. It will allow you to switch to no emails. Hope that helps.

Well when I list my subscriptions, I see a column for "Notification". Most all of my other subscriptions say "None" under this column, but the most recent thread says "Instant". I know I need to change it to none, but I still don't see how to do that. To the right of the "Notification" column there are check boxes, but I'm not entirely clear on what they are for. Currently all my check boxes are unchecked. Is there some pretty simple thing I am missing? Usually I can figure this stuff out pretty easily.
