How do I change my user name without losing my post count?

I'd like to change my user name from perfectmatch300 to Perfect Match . I don't want to lose my hard earned post count by doing this. I'm very tech-challenged, so I'd really appreciate some help in doing this.

Unfortunately, there is no way to change your username without starting "from scratch".

Thanks for responding, Chris. Guess I'll just stick with the identity I'm already using. After all, can't risk losing that post count!
