How do I book Dolphin Encounter in Nassau on my own?

I have seen more than one cruiser suggest doing this. How would I go about making my own arrangements? # to call/web site?

Do I take a cab to and from? How much does that cost? How much time does it take?

I had planned on doing the dolphin excursion in Freeport but just read a negative report today about their experience.

TIA! :)

We did the dolphin swim in Nassau at Dolphin Encounters and had a great and magical time. I highly recommend it.

To get to the ferry that will take you to Blue Lagoon, you will take a taxi to Paraside Island. Tell the driver you want to go to the ferry between the two bridges. The cost was $4.00 per person. We were bombarded by people right off the boat for taxis but they were making us wait till they got a full cab. Instead we jusst walked to the end of the dock to the plaza and got a taxi there. Took about 15 minutes to get there.

Hope this answers your questions. Oh we had the 10:30 swim and made it back to the ship by 1:30.

Have a great time.

Kathleen.

I know that mine was the negative report you read and I'm glad I could save you the disappointment we encountered. Just wanted to let you know that if you want to book the dolphin encounter in Nassau you can do that through Disney as an excursion. It is the dolphin swim you would have to book on your own. I hear the swim is fabulous and I am sorry now we didn't do that.

good luck!
