How do EMH affect my decision on which day to do Plaza Breakfast?

We're not staying on site, so no EMH. We are going on Sep 12-14 (T, W Th). Crowd levels are expected to be DL-2/CA-4 for Tues and Wed, and DL-2/CA-2 for Thurs. My question is, considering that the earliest breakfast reservation is 9:40 (10 am park open), does it matter if we go to breakfast on a day that has EMH/MM? In other words, if we eat breakfast and start park touring at 11, would it be better to do that on a day when others are getting into the parks at 10, or does it matter if they are getting into the parks at 9 with EMH/MM?

The big advantage (and the reason we try and book during EMH), is because then we don't have to wait in line, since they have a separate one. I don't know how much of a difference and EMH day would make otherwise.
