I can't seem to find any info on the point charts for this. We are thinking of looking into DVC and also have just returned from the -day Eastern cruise and would love to try the Western in a year or two. Where can I get info on how many DVC points are required for a cruise?

Thank you! :)

For the Western 7 day for this time of year (value season), it would be (for the first 2 adults):

Cat. 11 = 139 each
Cat. 10 = 146 each
Cat. 9 = 159 each
Cat. 6 = 198 each

You can pay for one adult with points and the other with cash. There is a $75 service for placing your reservation (regardless if you pay in all points and part cash). If you make ANY changes to your reservations, you again pay the $75.

If you pay part points and part cash, you have to pay for the whole cash amount at the time of the reservation.

Personally, I think it is cheaper to just pay cash for the cruise.....BUT if you have extra points that you are not using for anything else, you might as well use them for the cruise. We are paying for a 3 day cruise for all 4 of us this year with points.

112 each for the first two people in the cabin
15 for children 2 and under in the same cabin
34 for children 3-12 in the same cabin
40 for all others (13 and older) in the same cabin

Above is for 3 night cruise in value season in a cat 6 cabin
