How Did You Pick Your Favorite Loop?

Thanks for the link! Those videos made me a little dizzy!

We don't have a favorite loop yet, and can't even decide which one to request! We will have a stroller (no bikes or golf cart) and I can't decide if we'd like to be closer to the marina or to the meadows area. It sounds like it's all good though.

Wow! Two weeks! That's fantastic, Carol! You'll be there as long as us this year! When are you arriving? We get in on 12/3 and have requested either the 800 or the 300 loop.

Hey Jan!!

I arrive mid day on the 2nd, (I'm driving this year, leaving 2ish on Friday, and arriving right at checkin time on Saturday), checking out on the 16th.

We'll be checking in on the 3rd and checking out on the 16th !!!! 800 Loop. Two weeks at Disney World !!!!!!

It's official, I'm a Princess !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! princess:

Hi YorkieMom! I see you're in Nine Mile Point! I'm in Marrero! Hi neighbor! :goodvibes Looks like we'll be at WDW at the same time and hopefully in the same loop. We'll be neighbors again....hehe. Do you make the trip to WDW all in the same day or do you stop over on the way? We always stop over in Tallahassee on the way and spend the night as I'm a towing wimp and my husband does all the driving. This will have us arriving at FW around noon on 12/3. I can't wait!!!

Camping Cat, how cool is that ??????????????

We do the trip in two days, usually stop in Lake City. If we get the 800 loop look for Hollie the Yorkie. She is really the Princess and during our walks she has to stop and let everyone pet her. She is a real social butterfly !!!

DS and DDIL (who also live in Marrero) are joining us for some of the two weeks.

Hope to see you there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our first trip to FW was in the 1400 loop, so we use to always stay there. Then when we upgraded to a larger fifth wheel we found the sites to small.
The last few years we have requested the 1200 or 1300 loops. We like being close to the pool and meadows. We don't want our kids to have to cross the roads if at all possible. DH drives semi so those buses running at night are like a soothing sound to my ears...

Here's a link I have for the videos - not sure if it is the same one though.

Well, I looked at a couple of those videos. They really don't show me anything except the road. I wish he would have panned over to the occasional empty site.

To be honest, they all looked the same to me. I really wouldn't select a loop based on the videos.

We are headed down from Michigan on Friday----this will be our 6th stay at the campground-----we actualy had a difficult time deciding on what loop to ask for---we have stayed at 5 different loops and really liked them all. We have a large motorhome and some spots are a little tighter than others but we ALWAYS enjoy our trips.
We typically get a golf cart so location does not really matter---we do not have to do much walking......hey we are from michigan the auto capital---we all have cars and are out of shape.....anyway.
ONLY A FEW MORE DAYS! :Pinkbounc  :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We have only been once so far but here goes. We checked into the 1800 loop and didn't like being so far from everything. We asked to be moved to 900 loop after scoping all the loops out. I can't remember the site # but it was in the back right next to a trail going to an open area with fire pits. We really liked staying in the 900 loop. Liked being able to walk anywhere. Buying a golf cart before we go next time. Love Ft. Wilderness!!!!!

My husband and I think that the 1500 is the best loop there is, but it is only for tent and pop-ups, and truck mount. We felt that we were right in the middle of everything. We swam in the evening in November when the pool was heated up nice. We played tennis, volleyball, frisbee, and could walk to the campfire. Plus we rented a golf cart, right there. This loop has a tether ball at the front, that our kids really enjoyed and the playground is right there too. We are so sad we bought a travel trailer and can't enjoy this loop any longer.
