this should be interesting to find out where we heard about disboards. i'll always be grateful to the person on ebay for telling me about this site. these forums taught me so much about our first DCL cruise!

when i was planning one of my many disney adventures i did a search on line and hit the jack-pot with The Disboards!! i have gotten so much information from these forums and am very grateful :flower1:

I ran across it with a search. Of course it was after my DCL cruise, which caused me to be addicted to cruises. But I still have learned so much from here.

I actually do not remember how I heard about the boards....but I am sure glad I did...been a member for about 3 years now...and almost up to 7,000 posts!!! I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge, information and pictures of DCL with others....plus I always learn something new myself!!!

I found it either through Barb or Dave's site - I remember both of their sites first and then in going through their links I got here.

And thank God I did. HOW would I have done two (almost THREE) cruises without you people? HOW?

Thanks to each and everyone of you who asks the questions, answers the questions and provides general support! :grouphug:

I found it doing a google search on the DCL. It's an awesome source of information. We are going on our first cruise in March, and I feel both more overwhelmed with details but also more informed.

I stumbled upon the boards about a year after our first Disney Cruise. I've learned an incredible amount from these boards that have helped make every cruise and WDW trip after the discovery even better!

I found it through Barb and Tony's site.]

The best link I ever clicked!

I found it doing a search on disney cruises through msn search.

I used to work for the Disney Store and my manager recommended it as a way to learn more about the theme parks, she actually "trained" us to share the web site with guests who were planning too, so I can't imagine how many people have been introduced to the DIS because of her!

I found the boards this summer when I called the Disney Visa card to find out when my 6 months no interest on my cruise expired. The lady there told me and I've been hooked ever since.

I found the boards back in early 1999 when I was searching for information on DVC. Wow, it's kind of hard to believe that I've been hanging aroud here for almost 6 years now.

A little piece of trivia:
When you see "Join Date" in the descriptions to the left, the furthest back you will ever see is August 1999, which is when the DIS switched over to a board system that required people to sign up and log in to post.

Good ole' Google here. I was planning my 2nd cruise (yes, that means I did my first DCL cruise WITHOUT DIS Boards!!! (Oh the horror!!! :crazy2:)) So anyway, my second cruise (coming up in Sept. :Pinkbounc ) I decided to google some info. And I think the DCL tribute site came up, and I saw a link to here from his site. And the rest is history!!!!

I had bought the Passporter's Guide to DCL and was a regular on their site. I was looking for others going on our 6/5/04 cruise. Someone posted on there and told me to look on these boards. I'll be forever grateful to them for that piece of info.

I stumbled across them this summer when I was looking for information for our first cruise - I think at first I was just on the regular Dinsey Cruise Line information page and then I saw the link for the forum. It was one of the best point and clicks of my internet career! I found so much great information on these boards that helped make our cruise exceptional - thanks everybody!!

I also just ran across the boards from a search on WDW when I started planning a WDW trip. Then I srarted reading about DCL and canceled WDW trip and began planning a cruise - Thanks to these boards.

I found it from a link from "Cruise Critic". I was so mad over our cancelled 11/02 Eastern sailing I was looking for a place to vent.....Almost 1500 posts and 2 more sailings later......I have met some great friends..... :cool1:
