Hi everyone,

I just wanted to know how you guys found VMK...My mom found VMK in the summer, two years ago, on the back of a cereal box and showed me, and of course...I didnt bother to do anything about it. I started playing VMK in November that year though, because I saw my friend in real life playing it at her house...(Now that I think of it, it's pretty rude to play online while a friend is over...:rotfl2:)

So, how did everyone else find VMK? :goodvibes

Im obsessed with disney, so i was playing yeti vision, and followed the link :)

Neopets... now that I think back, that game is SO lame compared to VMK.

I kept seeing ads on the top of the screen, and I just kept ignoring them until I finally clicked it one day.

my aunt (mama2cookees) found out about it down in DisneyWorld. She told me and here I am!!!

I was checking some stuff out for my families trip to WDW in January 2006 when I saw the ad on the Disney Home page and I followed the link then and think I tried to sign up right away but it was taking forever to download the night before we left. When I got back I tried again and eventually got in (was on dial-up back then). Of course since I didn't get in before I actually went I had no clue about the quests and stuff I could have gotten there :sad2: Oh well I have been addicted since and managed to get some questing in last month when I got my day at the Magic Kingdom :goodvibes

I found VMK through a friend of mine. She told me about it at first. I didn't really care. Then I saw her play it and I was so fascinated( since i'm a total Disney Maniac!!) I thought the 3D style on a computer of Disney Parks was so creative. I've been on VMK since October 2005.:surfweb:

I was on a tamagotchi website, and someone had the link in their signature. Now that I think about it I wonder what happened to that site. :rotfl: I suppose that gives you how much of a vmk addict I am hehe.

I was watching a WDW vacation planning DVD and they talked about it on there. Of course, they were kind of misleading on the DVD, but despite that, I still got hooked. I got so obsessed I even read the wikipedia article on VMK and learned a lot and now I feel almost like I've been playing since the beginning.

I also found out through the Disney site, it showed a pic of someone dancing in the Music Mix Lobby and I decided to give it a try. I told (BlueSavannah) and she get a membership to it too. I have been on ever since a few days after it opened and I am just HOOKED! :goodvibes: I remember that night I was up playing Falling Chairs OVER AND OVER AGAIN BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS THE COOLEST! :lmao: I was so happy when I got my name, I still don't remember why I chose greencoolcat though... :confused3 :lmao:

I was looking up Heartless items on eBay so I could find a PVC figure for my collection. I saw Pink Heartless Hampers from VMK on eBay a lot. Eventually I got curious and well...here I am. :)

In very early Beta, I read about it in one of Kevin Yee's articles on MiceAge.

Yep...I had that cereal box lying around for a few months - it looked interesting to me, but Monkey refused to go on and find out about it until she learned that many of the kids in her school were playing. She started before Frontierland made it's debut, and while I was sitting next to her I thought, "Hey, this is so darn cuuuuute!" I made my own character shortly after that. I remember wondering how people made so many credits -- things were so expensive! We couldn't even afford Christmas items back then. :( I also remember trying to walk up the winner's stairs in the fireworks lobby. :rotfl: Those were the days... :goodvibes

I play WPASADI on here and got put on the team with five VMK players so of course I had to give it a try.

I remember walking in to the Spell Room (:( Miss that room) and banging the keys because it said to talk just type and I had not clicked on the speech bar :rotfl: I also remember the Princess Dresses were on sale for the first time :) Good ol' simple days.. :goodvibes

I found out about VMK through a friend just about a year ago.

but... (and there's always a 'but')

he told me about VMK the day after I got home from my monstrous 4-parks-in-one-day adventure at WDW. Had I known about VMK before I went, I would have stopped into VMK Central and made a character in the park before I headed home (since MK was my last stop that day). Come to think about it, if would have known in advance, I would have done the in-park quests that day, too! *fumes*

and no I didn't bother looking at a park map (which I think mentions VMK). Who needs park maps when you know what rides you like, where they are located, and where all the smoking sections are in the 4 parks? :rolleyes1

I found it through the Disney Adventures magizine. Geez, I still hate VMK for not giving me a beta badge.
